Increase the impact of your time on Snowdon by raising money for charity while you walk. Climb Snowdon is an experienced provider for charity challenge events and can connect you with one of our many Charity Partners, or support your fundraising efforts with a charity of your choice.
Whether you’re joining one of our regular Open group days, or booking a bespoke experience with family, friends or colleagues, climbing Snowdon for charity turns what is an amazing personal achievement into an event with a much greater reach.
In 2023, we supported 44 charities and helped people fundraise over £300,000 on Yr Wyddfa alone. Out of 1923 walkers, 895 of them told us they were walking for a charity.
Raising money for the charity of your choice with Climb Snowdon means you’ll also be supporting the area’s unique environment and communities. Year on year, Climb Snowdon donates £1 per walker to the Snowdonia Society, a member-based conservation charity that works with volunteers, local communities, organisations, businesses and individuals to help look after Snowdonia.
Take a look at our Snowdon Challenges for inspiration on the different experiences you can take on for your chosen charity.
