RAW Adventures partnered with Mind of the Student to deliver our annual fundraising challenge, STEPUP4 Mental Health, where we took 50 young people up Snowdon to raise funds for the charity. The team guided us along the PYG route, sharing their knowledge, encouraging our students throughout the climb, and ensuring everyone remained safe while enjoying the incredible scenery.

The professionalism, enthusiasm and encouragement shown by every Mountain Leader made a huge difference to the experience. Many of the students were climbing a mountain for the very first time, and the team's patience and positivity helped them achieve something they will remember for the rest of their lives.

We couldn't recommend RAW Adventures highly enough and very much look forward to working with Ross and the team again on future fundraising challenges.

We were worried how experienced the rest of the group would be given it was our first climb but we had a lovely group of people, everyone was friendly and whilst there were different levels of fitness and experience within the group, everyone was kind, patient and encouraging to one another.

We were lucky to have a beautiful sunrise before making our way back. A fantastic experience we will cherish for a very long time!

Neil was a great guide, patient and considerate. We could not have done it without him! Seriously considering the next adventure...

The team managed the timeframe of the ascent/decent to maximise on the sunrise and other weather factors. I highly recommend!

Great communication from RAW Adventures throughout the booking process and lead up to the day.

They took us up the Llanberis path which is the easiest of the paths but due to the winds and rain it was still a challenge - walking sticks are a must especially for short people like me as there are some big steps for tired legs. Such lovely people, will definitely go with them again.

I certainly appreciated their motivational commentary and the way they spaced themselves out to help support the group who were moving along at different paces throughout the day. Overall - An excellent, friendly & professional experience with RAW.

Paul and Leon showed exceptional care for the children, ensuring their safety at all times while building their confidence and helping them overcome challenges along the way. Their patience, encouragement, and ability to engage with the students made a huge difference and contributed greatly to the success of the expedition.

The children returned with a real sense of achievement, and much of that is thanks to Paul and Leon's expertise, leadership, and dedication. They were fantastic role models and ambassadors for outdoor learning and adventure.

I know it’s his job to get us to the top safely, but he did an amazing job and was such a nice guy! I am so thankful he took us up to the summit via the Ranger path. The views were even more stunning than those on the Llanberis path coming down. It was also great to meet, chat to and share the experience with the other walkers on the day. Helped make the day even better.

Thanks to RAW’s organisation, proper assessment of our individual abilities, and more than adequate supervision by guides with world-beating CVs, I managed to achieve something that I thought was meant for other people, not me. Thanks to the incredible Helen and Jade, I learnt a lot about where the fear comes from in these environments, when to listen to it and when to quiet it down with clearer headed assessment of risks, and safely travel through consequential terrain.

I’m beyond grateful excited to now feel able to continue building confidence in these truly awe inspiring environments; spaces that before the weekend with RAW I thought just weren’t meant for me.

With the weather conditions as they were, without being part of a group with an expert lead, I would very likely have needed rescuing.
